The idea of HaveIntern sprung up from the personal experiences of students at Indian Institute of Technology who themselves faced a lot of difficulties in securing their internships.They had some information regarding the internship opportunities but lacked proper guidance and direction.We realized the importance of a mentor since the information is available to everyone but even then only few people could actually turn the tide in their favour. There were a few consultancy services available at that time but they were too expensive for a student.We decided to address the issue and talked to professionals and experts in this field.Gradually, we built our relations with them and formed a versatile expert panel to serve the cause.
